FAQ

Brand partnership questions

Which brands does Salextra represent?

Salextra works with nine brand partners: Nokia and its owner HMD Global (manufacturing licence plus national distribution), Apple (authorized importer), Titan, Fastrack, HTC, iMiLab, Newland AIDC, and Xtra — Salextra's own technology brand launched in 2023.

Is Salextra the authorized distributor of Nokia in Bangladesh?

Yes. Salextra holds both a manufacturing licence and a distribution partnership with HMD Global, the company that owns the Nokia brand. That makes Salextra Nokia's authorized manufacturer and national distributor in Bangladesh, producing Nokia-branded phones at its Gazipur facility and distributing the full range through 64 districts and 12,000+ retail outlets.

What does it mean to be an authorized importer?

An authorized importer sources products directly from the brand owner and takes responsibility for customs, compliance, warranty service and distribution within the country. Salextra holds authorized importer status for Apple in Bangladesh, meaning Apple products in the Bangladeshi market come through Salextra's import and distribution infrastructure.

How does a brand partner reach all 64 districts?

Through Salextra's national distribution network: 123 local distributors, more than 12,000 retail outlets across 7 regions, plus corporate accounts, telecom operator centres, marketplaces and organised retail chains — managed end to end, including logistics, in-store presence and sell-through.

Can my brand partner with Salextra?

Yes. Salextra works with technology and lifestyle brands that want manufacturing, import, licensing or nationwide distribution in Bangladesh. Contact the partnership team through the Contact page or email info@salextrabd.com to discuss models, territories and timelines.
